BERNARD David Woodward, of Freiston, died at Hunters Creek Nursing Home, following an illness.
He was 78.
Born in Scrane End, Freiston, he had lived in the area all his life.
He leaves behind wife Veronica, daughter Margaret Lawrence, son David Woodward and grandchildren Sarah, Mark, Paul and Hannah Lawrence and Thomas Woodward.
Until he retired, Mr Woodward worked as a farmer. As a younger man he took part in National Service with the army.
Outside of work he was interested in gardening and was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church.
Mr Woodward’s funeral took place at the Centenary Methodist Church and was followed by a cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Neil Vickers.
Family mourners were: Veronica Woodward (wife), Margaret and Phil Lawrence (daughter and son-in-law), David and Bev Woodward (Son and daughter-in-law), Sarah, Mark, Paul, Hannah and Thomas (grandchildren), Rowena and Cecil Hargreaves (sister-in-law and husband), Roderic and Gill Paul (brother-in-law and wife), Chris Paul (nephew), Jill Johnson and Bill (cousin and partner) and Rick and Jenny Applesee (cousin).
