GORDON Patrick Allam, of Hospital Lane, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital.
He was 79.
Born in Boston, he lived in this area his whole life.
A married man, he is survived by wife Doreen, sons Richard and Lee, daughter Rosemarie Fordham and granddaughters Tabitha and Anastasia.
Mr Allam retired from his job as a highways inspector at Lincolnshire County Council in 1993.
He was a member of the Ramblers Association and enjoyed swimming and listening to music.
Mr Allam’s funeral took place at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and was followed by cremation at Boston Crematorium. The service was officiated by Father Slawomir Hermanowicz and Deacon Rev David Baccus.
Chief family mourners were: Doreen (wife), Richard and Valerie (son and wife), Lee and Donna (son and partner), Rosemarie (daughter), Tabitha and Anastasia (granddaughters), Shirley Mann (cousin) and Dawn and Deborah (second cousins).
