MAURICE (Mo) Brown, of Portland Street, Boston, has died suddenly at Pilgrim Hospital.
He was 80.
Born in Boston, he lived in this area for his entire life.
A married man, he is survived by wife Phyllis, daughter Angela and brother Ron.
During his working life, Mr Brown completed National Service before becoming a welder and engineer.
Mr Brown was a lifelong blood donor, giving 75 pints and receiving a crystal goblet in recognition of this achievement.
He and his wife enjoyed dancing.
His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Roy Elston.
Chief family mourners were: Phyllis Brown (wife), Angela Brown (daughter), Marian Middlebrook (daughter’ss partner), Ron Brown (brother), Marjorie Brown and Sylvia Bedford (sisters-in-law), Alan Bedford (brother-in-law), nephews and nieces and other family members.
