PETER John Lock has died suddenly.
He was 77.
He was born in Eriswell in Suffolk and went to agricultural college.
He did national service in the RAF, which brought him to RAF Coningsby and to Boston, where he met and married his first wife Betty.
They had two children, Joanne and Richard.
After Betty's death he married Jean and became stepfather to Kerry and Tim.
He worked at DT Grattons, selling agricultural machinery, and became well known in the farming community.
He later worked for Couplands drainage company and then for his latter working life as a self-employed painter and decorator.
He and his wife enjoyed sequence dancing, caravan holidays, garden tours with a group of friends and spending time with family.
He is survived by wife Jean, daughter Joanne and husband Ian, son Richard and wife Sue, stepdaughter Kerry and husband Frank, stepson Tim and partner Jackie, grandchildren Chris, Sophie, Rebecca, Rachael, Sam and Luke.
