PETER Richard Tyrrel, of Kirton, has died in Peterborough following a sudden illness.
He was 60.
Born in Boston, he lived in this area for 60 years.
A married man, he is survived by wife Lyndis Tyrrel and daughter Hannah Oakes.
He worked as an interview officer with the UK Passport Office and was a former sergeant in Lincolnshire Police.
He enjoyed reading and collecting books, listening to music and was interested in cars and motoring.
His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Ken Still.
Chief family mourners were: Lyndis Tyrrel (wife), Hannah Tyrrel and Jonathon Oakes (daughter and son-in-law), Geoff Tyrrel and David Tyrrel (brothers), Nicholas Hubbard and Stephen Hubbard (brothers-in-law), Jane Hubbard and Jayne Hubbard (sisters-in-law), James Tyrrel and Jamie Hubbard (nephews), Sarah Hubbard, Rebecca Beavers and Laura Hubbard (nieces) and Daniel Hubbard (nephew).
