WILLIAM Goodman (Bill), of Willoughby Road, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following an illness. He was 73.
Born in Boston, Mr Goodman lived in the area throughout his life. He was married to Brenda and had two daughters, Barbara Rennison and Alison Gross.
Following National Service with the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, when he served in Malaya and Germany, he worked as a docker. After that he was a caretaker at John Fielding School.
His interests included gardening and fishing and he enjoyed breeding border canaries. He was a member of Boston Bird Club.
His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and the Rev Simon Dowson officiated.
