WILLIAM Magill (Bill), of Fishtoft, has died of dementia at St John’s Nursing Home.
He was 90.
Born in Glasgow, he lived in the area for around 30 years.
A married man, he leaves behind wife Beryl, son Alan, daughter Kathryn, grandchildren Amanda, Kerry-Anne, Gillian and Michael and great-granddaughters Beth and Laura.
Before he retired, he was company director at Batchelors of Ireland.
Away from work he enjoyed football, golf and horseracing.
His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by David Taylor.
Chief family mourners were: Beryl Magill (wife), Alan and Sally Magill (son and daughter-in-law), Kathryn and Vaughan Starkey (daughter and son-in-law), Amanda Magill, Michael Magill, Kerry-Anne Horne, Gillian Starkey (grandchildren), Beth and Laura Horne (great-grandchildren), Hazel and Sid Kirby, Arthur and Pam Webb, Michael and Mavis Webb, June, Glenda and Maurice, Sandra and John Busley (sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law), Nigel and Sheena Earth, Steven and Nigel Earth, Sarah Incles, Zoe Fairbanks, Tracey and Mike Crowson, Mandy and Phil (nephews and nieces).
