Mrs Beryl Ann North


BERYL Ann North, of London Road, Frampton, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following illness.

She was 72.

Born in Herefordshire, she has lived in this area for 10 years.

A married woman, she is survived by husband David, mother Mary and sister Gillian.

Mrs North spent 23 years working in a residential care home in Buckinghamshire where she helped in the office.

On her marriage and move to Luton she worked for former Luton MP Ivor Clemitson, typing out the manuscript for his book using only one finger on one hand.

She was the secretary of a Disablement Income Group in Luton before moving to a rural community.

She enjoyed gardening and bird watching, talking to people and using computers.

Her funeral took place at St Mary’s Church, Frampton, and was followed by Interment at Kirton Cemetary. The service was officiated by the Rev Stuart Dobson.

Chief family mourners were: David North (husband), Mary Potter (mother) and Lillian Lulland (sister).
