DOREEN Frances Burdett, of Windsor Crescent, Boston, has died suddenly at home.
She was 90.
Born in Boston, she had lived in the area for her entire life.
A widow, she leaves behind daughter Diana Pitcher, son David Burdett, grandchildren Nigel and Michelle Pitcher, Sarah Burdett and Maria Demmon and great-granddaughter Holly.
During her working life, Mrs Burdett worked as a dispenser and counter assistant at various chemists in Boston.
In her spare time, she was a member of the Royal Air Force Association, St Botolph’s Mothers’ Union and St Botolph’s Church.
Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Canon Robin Whitehead.
Chief family mourners were: Diana and Michael Pitcher (daughter and son-in-law), David and Margaret Burdett (son and daughter-in-law), Nigel and Jacqueline Pitcher (grandson and wife), Michelle Pitcher and Duncan Booth and Sarah Burdett and Darren (granddaughters and partners) and Maria and Michael Demmon (granddaughter and husband).
