ELISABETH Welberry, of Causeway, Wyberton, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following a short illness.
She was 66 years old.
Mrs Welberry is survived by son Mark Welberry, daughter Rebecca Welberry, and brothers Richard and Bill Vaughan.
Born in Surrey, she had lived in the Boston area for 64 years.
Before she died she worked part-time as a shop assistant at Somerfield. Previously she worked at the MOD in Cyprus and at GCHQ, as she was married to an RAF squadron leader. Her working life began at Pilgrim Hospital in 1962.
Away from work her interests included gardening, cooking and crosswords. She was also a member of the local neighbourhood policing panel.
Mrs Welberry’s funeral took place at Freiston Church, followed by interment. The service was officiated by the Rev Andrew Higginson.
