ELIZABETH May Rose, of Smeetons Lane, Fosdyke, has died peacefully at home.
She was 86.
Born in Kirton Seadyke, she lived in this area for all but one year of her life.
The widow of Albert (Ted) Edward and predeceased by daughter Janet, she is survived by son David Rose, daughters Wendy Depear and Carol Rowett, brother Alan Early and sister Renee Eaton.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
During her working life she farmed with her husband, taking over when he died in 1976.
She enjoyed gardening, needlework and listening to country and western music.
Her funeral was followed by cremation and a memorial service. The service was officiated by Father Stuart Dobson.
