Mrs Grace Lilian Vines

GRACE Lilian Vines, of Comer Close, Boston, has died in Elmwood Nursing Home following illness.

She was 88.

Born in Boston, she had lived in the area for her entire life.

A widow, she leaves behind sons John and Mick, daughters Christine, Margaret, Sheila, Karen and Debbie and sisters June and Mavis.

Before her marriage she worked at Beaulah’s, and left to become a wife and mother.

Away from work she enjoyed bingo and helped with a luncheon club for the elderly at Fenside Community Centre.

Her funeral took place at Boston Stump and was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: John and Christine Vines and Mick and Pauline Vines (sons and daughters-in-law), Sheila and Allan Wilkinson, Christine and Ron Bennett, Debbie and Jim Galvin and Karen and Simon Bates (daughters and sons-in-law), Margaret Daubney (daughter), June and Jim Follwell (sister and husband), Mavis Miller and David (sister), Sandra and Des Mullholland (niece and husband) and grandchildren.
