JOAN Hammond, of Hardwick Estate, Kirton, has died at St John’s Nursing Home.
She was 80.
Born in Algarkirk, she lived in Kirton for 30 years.
A married woman, she is survived by husband Peter, sons Malcolm and David, granddaughters Claire and Samantha, grandson Jamie and great-granddaughters Courtney, Amelia and Lacey.
During her working life, Mrs Hammond was a landworker at Hofleet Stow. She retired aged 60.
Her hobbies including modern sequence dancing and bingo.
Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Ken Still.
Chief family mourners were: Peter Hammond (son), Malcolm and Liz and David and Pam (sons and daughters-in law), Claire Rowett (granddaughter), Samantha Hammond and Ben Ambler (granddaughter and partner), Jamie Hammond (grandson), William Hubbard (brother) Valerie and Keith Richardson (niece and husband), Paul and Mandy Buckberry (nephew and wife), Ginetta Hammond (sister-in-law), Wendy and Maria (nieces), Kathleen Cottingham (aunt) and Ernie Lawson (cousin).
