ROSA Faulkner, of Old Leake, has died at Hunters Creek Nursing Home following a short illness.

She was 81.

Mrs Faulkner, who had lived in the area all her life, was a widow and leaves behind daughters Teena and Lynn and grandsons Harry and Jack.

She spent much of her life as a housewife and mother, before working as a home help for Boston Council. She retired in 1990.

Her interests were centred around Leverton Church. She was a member of the choir and the PCC and also enjoyed flower arranging and organising fundraising events.

Her funeral took place at Leverton Church and was officiated by the Rev Andrew Wrigglesworth. It was followed by interment.

Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs P. Hubbert (daughter and son-in-law), Mrs L. Lacey (daughter), Jack Hubbert and Hannah (grandson and partner), Graham Lacey (son-in-law), Mr and Mrs J. Huskisson (brother and sister-in-law), Mrs E. Woods (sister), Mr D. Woods and Mr E. Woods (nephews), Mr E. Reeson (niece), Mr and Mrs S. Huskisson (brother and sister-in-law) and Mrs B. Melson (sister).
