Hilda Timm, of Fenside Road, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital.
She was 93.
Born in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham, she had lived in the area for 65 years.
A widow, she is survived by daughter Anne Sizer.
Mrs Timm worked as a trained seamstress. During the war, she worked as a bus conductress. She also worked as a lineworker at Lockwoods Cannery, until her retirement.
In her spare time she enjoyed dress-making, knitting, watching the TV and was a social member of West End Bowls Club.
Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.
The service was officiated by Father Chris Wedge.
Chief family mourners were: Anne Sizer (daughter), Maurice Sizer (son-in-law) and very distant relations.
