Large tree upsets plans

CHRISTMAS fundraising plans by a Boston Hospice have been scuppered, after a tree which had been planned to go up in Pescod Square, in the town centre, was found to be too big for the space.

The Butterfly Hospice had planned to launch a Christmas Bauble Appeal, where people pay a donation to remember a loved one and get a bauble placed on the tree in return.

Anybody who still wants to remember their loved ones can send their messages through to the hospice and have them recorded in a book at the site.
