LETTER: Boston Buskers’ Day was a success

Opinion

Opinion

Boston Buskers’ Day was held on Sunday, June 8. It was well-received by the general public, and the musical groups involved said they would like to do it again next year - so onwards and upwards.

I would like to thank Andy Dell (pop music), Nick Fitton (trad jazz), Colin Hayes (folk) and Zeph Churchill (ukuleles) for organising their groups.

Boston borough’s publicity team Andrew and Emma were amazing.

Thanks to all at Pescod Square for their help.

We raised just over £200 for Flood Aid.

Our next concert will be in the Market Place on July 28.

This will be the Ukulele Orchestra of Spalding and Nick Fitton and his jazz band.

Thanks to everyone.

Roger Budge
