LETTER: Can you help Boston’s Marie Curie Cancer Care group?

Opinion

Opinion

I am writing to call on Boston readers to join the Boston Fundraising Group for Marie Curie Cancer Care, which is looking for new members.

Group members can make an enormous difference locally by helping to raise the vital funds needed to support Marie Curie Nurses, who provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.

We are also looking for a volunteer driver to support the group in delivering items to events for them.

The Boston Fundraising Group organises fundraising activities and collections in the local community, encourages new volunteers to help the charity, as well as support Marie Curie’s major fundraising campaigns such as the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party.

To join your local volunteer Fundraising Group for Marie Curie Cancer Care, or to find out more about the group and other ways to support the charity, please call Charlotte Jackson on 01476 576000 or charlotte.jackson@mariecurie.org.uk
