Another week, another negative film review.

Last week it was the excellent Quartet getting a miserly two out of five stars, this week the multi Oscar nominated ‘Les Miserables’ faired even worse getting only one star.

What is not acceptable is for your film reviewer to walk out of the screening of Les Mis. How can they give an honest, balanced and unbiased review if they don’t even watch all of the film? The person who reviewed the film appears to have made up there mind before even setting foot inside the cinema.

I go to the cinema every week and have thoroughly enjoyed all the films featured in your reviews over the past few weeks despite several poor ratings in The Standard.

I now look forward to seeing Django Unchained, Lincoln and Flight in the coming weeks and would be happy to review any of these for you.
