Regarding the ‘road misery’ (Boston Standard October 31), I shouldn’t think anyone will notice the difference.
After all, rarely a week goes by without at least the partial closure of one main thoroughfare in Boston - although I doubt whether anything could rival today’s (October 25) circus.
This morning, my wife and I were astonished to find that our main road into Boston (A 1121) was closed to through-traffic from end to end! We had to follow a lengthy diversion along the A17 and A 52. Eventually, we made it but, unsurprisingly, there were few people about in the town centre. It beats me how anyone in Boston manages to keep a business afloat.
