May I take this opportunity to thank your readers for the overwhelming support offered to our martial arts club in response to your article ‘Shock as Kuk Sool Won club loses its venue’ in the January 1 2014 edition.

We are very grateful for the many offers of help that we have received from the sporting community, local schools and wider general public in Boston and the surrounding villages.

We have been humbled by the many messages of encouragement and support and offer of assistance from past and current club members and their families.

Whilst we understand the position of Boston High School’s governing body we hope to meet with the new headteacher to discuss our current predicament to ensure the continuity of our school.

Kuk Sool Won Boston is a family orientated school which has built up an excellent reputation over the years for all the good work it does in the local community, winning both Boston Standard SportsTeam of the Year and Services to Sport awards.

We look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Anyone willing to help us in our new venture can contact our chief instructor Sonny Boyall on 07710 444662.

Once again, a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone concerned.

Diane Samra

Secretary, Boston Kuk Sool Won charity
