A teacher with a passion for children learning to read made a generous donation to Market Rasen Salvation Army ahead of Christmas.

Having seen the Salvation Army Toy Appeal in the media,

Rachel Pettifer wanted to do something positive to support the cause.

Rachel was able to raise approximately £1.700 and used the money to present a large selection of books and jigsaw puzzles, along with a large quantity of baby care products to the Market Rasen Corps.
