Planning permission is being sought for another lap dancing venue in Boston.

The application, submitted by John Newman, is listed for After Dark, on Craythorne Lane, Boston, and is for a proposed change of use from drinking establishment to a mixed use of drinking establishment and lap dancing venue.

The application was recieved by Boston Borough Council on May 3 and registered on May 9.

In the application form the business is said to be employing three full-time and two part-time staff members.

The applicant has also submitted plans for a venue called Goldfinger, also listed as on Craythorne Lane, in Boston.

Councillors and planning officers can consider applications for such change of use to determine whether the venue will have a detrimental affect on the surrounding area.

However, venues still need to apply for a sexual entertainments licence.

On Tuesday of last week, planning committee members approved another change of use application at Brown’s Cocktail Bar, on Dolphin Lane.

The application has not yet been listed to appear on a committee agenda.
