A COSTA coffee employee will be needing a good brew when he completes a nine-day 75km trek across the Himalayas.

Peter Andrews, 60, will be setting off on this incredible journey on September 24 to raise money for the Costa Foundation – a charity which helps communities in developing countries.

Peter, an active man who enjoys squash and walking through the Lake District and Scotland, was already going on the trip when he decided to do it for charity.

He said: “I like walking anyway and I’ve done a lot. I’d heard about doing it but only looked into it when a letter dropped through my door.”

The trip will see him trek the Modi Khola Valley to the 4130-metre high Annapurna Sanctuary.

To sponsor Peter visit Costa in Pescod Square – if he raises £250 the company will double it.
