A former school in Boston could be set to become five new homes.

An application has been made by the Parish of Boston for The Conway School site, in Tunnard Street, to
convert the existing Edwardian school into three ‘self-contained dwellings.

The parish is also applying to demolish ‘non-original additions’, such as the single-storied flat roofed extensions which run alongside the building on Tunnard Street and Norman Avenue.

In their place, it is hoped to build one detached house and one pair of semi-detached houses including garden areas. Two timber-framed classrooms are also planned to be ‘removed’.

The application has been submitted to Boston Borough Council.
