Police appeal for witnesses in rape case

Police have made an appeal for witnesses to come forward in relation to a rape case which was due to appear in court this morning (Friday).

Sergejs Susorovs, 26, of Edwin Street, Boston, was due to appear before Lincoln Magistrates charged with two offences which are alleged to have occurred on Wednesday, May 18 near the railway track behind the Range store, on London Road, Boston.

Lincolnshire Police’s Emerald Team have issued the witness appeal for anyone who was in the High Street/ London Road area between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on Wednesday.

In particular, they would like to hear from anyone who recalls seeing a man with a bald head, wearing a distinctive black hoody with a thick white band around the chest, or a female wearing glasses and a backpack who was walking from the town centre towards Wyberton direction.
