Police are treating an attack on a woman in Boston as ‘sexually motivated’.

Lincolnshire Police’s Emerald Team are renewing their appeal for information following an attack on a woman in Liquorpond Street, Boston, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Det Insp Simon Lovett said: “We are treating the incident as a sexually motivated attack. Unfortunately, we do not have a description of the attacker but part of our ongoing investigation involves examining CCTV from the area and tracing all potential witnesses.”

The woman was left ‘very distressed and shocked’ but otherwise was ‘not injured’ say the police.
