PRESIDENT Barry Overton opened the September luncheon meeting with a warm welcome back to Bruce Mackenzie after a period of ill health.
He also welcomed Rodney Fant, guest of probian Bill Mortlock.
In the official business of the club general secretary Alan Dunnett announced he would not be standing for re-election, after having served for 10 years on the committee.
Guest speaker for the meeting was Superintendent Richard Hatton, who gave an interesting and informative talk on policing in Lincolnshire.
There were a great number of questions from members on completion of the presentation.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Bert Shaw and members were enthusiastic with their appreciation.
The next meeting will take place on October 13 and will be the AGM.
