Car park decision to be reconsidered

COUNCILLORS will be forced to look again at their decision to begin charging disabled people to park in Boston.

Boston Borough Council opposition councillors have called-in the cabinet’s decision on its car parking strategy, made at a meeting of the cabinet on April 25.

They have cited ‘inadequate consultation’ of disabled people and councillors and an ‘absence of evidence’ in terms of costings and considerations of alternative options as their reasons for calling in the decision.
