Post Office bosses will be holding a ‘customer forum’ to explain its plans to move Boston’s main branch.

The event will take place at the New England Hotel, in Wide Bargate, on Thursday, November 7.

The forum will begin with a ‘drop-in information session’ from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, followed by a formal presentation at 7pm and a question and answer session.

The Post Office insists the move will create a ‘modern open-plan branch’ which has more opening hours for customers.

It says the move will not cause redundancies and leave people with five ‘serving positions’ within WH Smith.

You can have your say in the consultation, which runs until November 25.
