Teenagers on a national course will be holding a summer fete -including a car wash- at Haven High Technology College tomorrow (Thursday).

The event, being held from 11am-3pm on Haven High football field, is free to attend and will also feature sponsored events, sports, tombola and a cake stall.

The youths are holding the event, sponsored by Cammack and Sons and Badley’s Geoscience, as part of their National Citzen Service - a Government initiative providing those aged between 15 and 17 the chance to take in new challenges and exciting activities, and develop vital skills to support them later in life.

All proceeds will go to the Wishtree Foundation, part of the Orders of St John Care Trust, a charity caring for older people in Lincolnshire.
