A TOTAL of 12 migrants from ‘A8’ Eastern European countries have been forcibly removed from Lincolnshire in the past 15 months, according to figures from the UK Border Agency.
Six Lithuanian and six Polish people were removed after they were found to be in the county illegally. Four Romanian people have also been removed.
The agency removed more Chinese and Indian people than any other nationality.
At the meeting, regional director for the agency, said A8 migrants were entitled to be in the UK as long as they are executing their treaty rights, in that they are working, looking for work, self-employed or studying.
