Crowds gathered in Boston on Sunday to remember those who have fought in conflicts around the world.
They joined others in towns and villages across Lincolnshire in remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and those who continue to do so.
A moving act of remembrance at the war memorial in Wide Bargate, in which wreaths were laid on behalf of organisations and schools, was followed by a parade through the town and a special service at St Botolph’s Church.
Rev Alyson Buxton led the remembrance service.
The day’s events were given even more poignancy, with this year marking 100 years since the start of the First World War.
Photographer Andy Laithwaite was on hand in town to take pictures from the event in the town centre.
