Boston’s Army Cadet Force have received recognition for their work and training.

The cadets were awarded the Lucas Tooth trophy which is given out annually to the best detachment in the county.

Award organisers look at a number of factors to decide who should receive it, including a detachment’s paperwork and administration, the cadets smartness and what the detachment has done over the year.

The cadets were given the trophy at a presentation evening on Wednesday, held at their station on Main Ridge West, in Boston.
