A VILLAGE pub has donated £3,000 to a school for autistic children.
The Anchor Inn, in Friskney, had raised the money for Gosberton House School, in Gosberton, over the past year through various events including live music and motorbike nights.
The organisers thanked those who supported them including Lenton Holdings for the use of their field and Staples Produce for their portable toilets.
They said the fundraising had been highly successful and the support and generosity of people had been overwhelming.
Over eight years staff at the inn have raised more than £17,000 for charities such as the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Macmillan Nurses, Meningitis UK and Cancer Research.
