After four years’ hard work and fundraising, February 2007 saw the first sod dug for Sibsey Free School’s new pre- and after-school club and holiday building.

School governor and chairman of building and fabric committee Charles Russell was the man doing the digging.

Also present were headteacher Phil Coote and representatives from Sibsey Playpals and the builders and architects involved in the project.
