Ten years ago this week The Standard threw the spotlight on pupils at Thomas Cowley School, Donington.

The pupils belonged to the PACT (problem solving, attendance, communications, and teamwork) club and attended to the area known as the arboretum as part of their lessons – as well as contributing hours of their own time.
