The ‘life-changing’ Prince’s Trust team programme offers people aged 16 to 25 the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop skills essential for success - with a course date in Boston.

Those taking part are offered a a 12-week personal development programme involving action-packed outdoor activities like caving and climbing, as well as team challenges, community work, a job placement, and careers guidance.

Kim Jones, from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, said: “The Prince’s Trust team programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop skills, as well as get work experience and qualifications.

“Around 70 per cent of those who take part go on to make great achievements in work and education. And it’s great fun!”

A spokesman said the course is designed to boost young people’s confidence and motivation, help them uncover hidden talents and develop skills that are crucial to the world of work.

They said many of the participants come from disadvantaged backgrounds and the course helps turn their lives around.
