A large barn in Holbeach - which contained around 1,000 bales of hay - was severely damaged following a major fire overnight (February 29/March 1).
Four fire crews rushed to the scene in Hurdletree Bank just before 10pm yesterday, and worked tirelessly throughout the night to tackle the blaze.
Crews used four main jets, two hose reels, two breath apparatus and a thermal image camera.
Two appliances were still at the site at 5.20am today (March 1), by which time 50 per cent of the building had suffered severe damage. There were no injuries.
