Another successful year at Swineshead’s Lineside Vintage Show raised £2,644 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The family run show attracted scores of people over two days in October to enjoy stalls and displays of more than 80 cars, tractors and vintage vehicles.

Organisers handed over a cheque to charity representatives David and Vivien Sellars (pictured), bringing the total raised to date to £32,807 for the charity.

The show was set up 17 years ago when organiser Rex Clarke approached Judy Key of Lineside Riding School, who allowed the show to be run on her land. Sadly, Judy passed away last year but the air ambulance was her chosen charity and organisers have continued her wish that the money raised goes to the charity.

Rex’s wife Fran said: “The show was well attended and we’ve already started organising for next year’s event.”
