Showcase event promises music and dance for all tastes

A line-up of music and dance for all tastes has been unveiled for the Boston Community Showcase.

Confirmed this year are the Boston United cheerleaders, Zumba, Neverendin street dance, the Salvation Army Band, the Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Boston Pop Choir, Blue in Green and Becky and Lulu.

There will also be dance performances from CL Dance, Allen School of Dance – and martial arts demonstrations from Kook Sool Won.

Michele Launchbury, who will lead the Zumba, said: “This will be the third year we have been at the Boston Community Showcase – I really enjoy the event and love performing there. It has a lovely atmosphere and really brings the community together. We get a large crowd for our performance, it is a very enjoyable day.”

The showcase takes place in Central Park on Sunday, September 8, from 10am to 4pm. Entry and many attractions are free. For more information call 07949 541873.
