Skip fire at Boston town centre store

Fire crews were called out to a small fire in the town last night (Sunday) between 9 and 10pm.

Flames in a skip at United Carpets and Beds on Main Ridge East did not cause any injuries to anybody nearby and did not damage any property.

The skip itself were damaged by heat, as were the contents of the container.

Firefighters in Boston were also called out to a blaze on the river bank on Main Road, Langrick, at 8.40pm on Saturday, but they arrived to find that the burning was controlled.
