Excitement filled classrooms around Boston on Friday morning as the Children in Need fundraising activitiies got under way.
Smiles beamed across the faces of the children at Wyberton Primary School when Pudsey the Bear made a surprise appearance. Children baked cakes and organised a parents’ coffee morning to help raise cash. They also dressed in spotty clothing as did Kirton Primary School children.
Staff at Kirton were also raising money for Movember - with teachers growing moustaches in aid of prostate and testicular cancer.
Staff at Boston Audi were licenced to thrill on the day with staff dressing as James Bond. Money was raised by customers guessing how many balloons were in one of their cars.
Children at St George’s Preparatory School and Little Dragons Nursery took their bikes, trikes and scooters to school and raced around the playground.
They made a donation to Children in Need and helped raise more than £150.
