Flock to RSPB Frampton Marsh on Sunday and take a walk on the wild side with the ‘wonderful winter wildlife walk’ event.

From 2pm, visitors will be taken on a leisurely two-hour stroll around the reserve on surfaced paths, guided by an expert.

A variety of birds can be spotted along the walk, along with the ‘mad’ March hare. Visitors may glimpse pairs of the enigmatic creatures racing across the fields before engaging in a bout of furry fisticuffs.

Chris Andrews, visitor services officer for the reserve, sai: “What better way to blow away the cobwebs on a Sunday afternoon than come out to a wonderful natural place and meet some of the local wildlife.”

After the walk, there will be option to enjoy a hot drink at the heated visitor centre.

Entry is £4 for adults and £2 for children but places are limited. Book a place by calling 01205 724678.
