ST BARNABAS Boston Hospice’s Fundraising Group is holding its annual summer fair on Saturday, July 23.
The fair is taking place at Centenary Methodist Church, on Red Lion Street, from 10am-1pm. The event is free.
As well as refreshments, cakes, raffle and tombola, visitors will be able to join in fun games aimed at children and those young at heart.
People will also have the chance to throw wet sponges at St Barnabas event fundraiser, Chris Fox, who will be locked in the stocks at various times.
Chris said: “I have always said that fundraising should be fun and even though I’ll get a soaking if it helps us raise extra pounds, then bring it on!”
He added: “We would like to thank Centenary Methodist Church for the use of their marvellous facilities for the fourth year running.”
If you would like details about the fair, booking a stall, donating a tombola or raffle prize, call Chris on 01529 415545.
All proceeds will go to St Barnabas Boston Hospice who spend more than £450,000 each year on patient services.
