Stomp on down to country night

CLAP your hands and stomp your feet at Blackfriars Theatre on Friday as a country music show rolls into town.

Neil Sands’ Nashville Nights and Dixie Days is returning to the Spain Lane venue with its brand new show The Greatest Hits of Country Music, which celebrates its 10th year touring.

It will also feature a special guest appearance by a tribute to the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley.

Neil said: “Over two hours of non-stop country hits brilliantly performed with an amazing finale will have you on your feet and yelling for more, meaning the 23rd really will be a hand clapping foot stomping night to remember”

The show promises more than 60 of country music’s greatest hits from classics such as Don Williams, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline and new country stars such as Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and The Mavericks.

It boasts more than two-and-a-half hours filled with everyone’s favourite country hits performed by Neil, the Nashville Nights All Star Band, two stunning girl singers Gemma Turner and Carolyn Hodgson and The Fabulous Dixie Dolls.

The Elvis tribute will be performed by international star Tom Storey.

This show hopes to lead the way in bringing the ‘widest range of country music to the widest audience in the UK today’.

The show starts at 7.30pm.
