The BBC’s Sunday Politics Show will be aired from Boston this week.

The show, taking place as the name suggests on Sunday, will be filmed live outside The Assembly Rooms, underneath the balcony. Assembly Rooms general manager Gemma Bowers said: “I have been working hard to ensure that there remains a balance at Assembly Rooms, being both a popular night time venue, and a utilised community asset. Events like this ensure that we bring a total variance of different people through our doors.”

Running since 2012, the show features interviews on topical subjects and debates on political issues.

Business director Matt Clark said: “This is an exciting event to be involved with, not only for the Assembly Rooms, but Boston as well.”
