Sweet Lemon is looking for a new loving and caring home

LEMONS usually leave a sour taste in the mouth – but this lovely dog, who shares the name of the fruit, will do nothing of the sort.

The greyhound, who is currently living at Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust, is actually a very sweet and affectionate animal, and would make a lovely pet for a family on the hunt for a furry friend.

Lemon previously raced with his fellow dogs at Peterborough, but he has now made his way to the trust and is hoping to find a new home.

At three-and-a-half years-old he is still a fairly young dog and would love to be part of a family who he can love and be loved by.

Kevin Stow, who is the chairman of the Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust, told The Standard: “He was a good racing dog but now he’s with us and we’re looking to find him an ideal home.”

Lemon is described as ‘fussy and affectionate’, but Kevin warned he is not good with cats or other small animals.
