Teenager injured after ‘chased man pushed her’

Police are appealing for information about an incident where a 17-year-old girl was injured while walking along a Boston street on Tuesday.

A force spokesman said the teenager was walking along West Street on the opposite side of the road to Wickes at 4.50pm.

At the same time, a male was being chased along the road by two others.

This man is alleged to have pushed the girl aside, causing her to fall and strike her head on the window ledge of the Ladbrokes shop.

The victim was treated in hospital and required six stitches to a head wound.

PC Wheeler would like to hear from anyone who as in the vicinity of West Street around that time, and who witnessed the incident.
