A TEENAGER spent the night in hospital after being knocked off his bike on London Road, in Boston, yesterday.
A police spokesman said the 15-year-old boy, from Tytton Lane, was taken to hospital on a spinal board and with a bleeding head and kept overnight for observation following the incident at 4.15pm.
They said the boy collided with a Silver Daewoo Matiz driven by a 68 year old man from Kirton End. He hit the bonnet and windscreen which shattered and was thrown several metres from the car.
London Road was closed temporarily while investigations were carried out and reopened at 6.30pm.
